We finally ventured out to the Lake near our house to do some fishing yesterday. It was Lawson's first fishing adventure and he sure had a great time... for the first 15 minutes! He loved watching Dustin cast and helping him hold the pole. I even did some fishing myself in Dustin's awesome Budweiser hat with the classy fish hook on it.
Lawson got bored of fishing after a short time and we weren't getting any bites, so we were done. We then headed over to the ocean, which is just next to the lake, to watch the sun go down. Beautiful! I can't get over how amazing this island is. There are gorgeous views every direction you look! Lawson enjoys being at the ocean, though sometimes the waves freak him out! It was a wonderful way to end the day.
